EYFS - Foundation Stage
At Apple International School, our Foundation Stage follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a high-quality, play-based curriculum that supports every child’s holistic development. Our approach combines international early years best practices with UAE culture, values, and traditions.
- Foundation Stage 1 & 2 follow the EYFS programme.
- Learning balances child-initiated play, adult-guided learning, and purposeful
interactions. - Children develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and
personally. - The curriculum integrates STEAM, inquiry-based learning, coding, creativity, and theme-based experiences.
- Teaching draws on EYFS, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approaches.
- Children experience Early Years Arabic and Ministry of Education Islamic
Education. - Learning includes UAE culture, heritage, values, traditions, and global perspectives.
